Hi! I'm a linguist, writer, musician, composer, editor and developer interested in the four As: animals, aliens, artificial intelligence, and ancient people. I love to tell stories in all sorts of mediums, and you can subscribe to my blog for short essays and artistic updates.

• Composing a character suite for Fonda Lee's Green Bone Saga.
• Writing code to read DNA sequences as music and trying to make it sound good.
• Plotting a long-term webnovel inspired by UNSONG, about Y2K, eclipse hunters, the simulation hypothesis, and cuneiform.
• Figuring out the phylogenetic relationships behind all extant Pokémon.
• Coding the website for the fifth volume of the Cortex Collective from scratch.
• Recording a youtube series about using computational linguistics for conlanging.
• Coding a personality quiz about trophic niches inspired by Cosmos Persona.
• Trying to learn this breakdancing move.
• Practicing the electric bass, playing a ping-pong/squash variant against the wall of my house with my brother, and making five different playlists titled “INSPO”.

I'm taking a gap semester this Spring, but staying in New Haven and working at the CCAM!
